February at the Kuckert Agency is one of our favorite months! We get to celebrate our Agents birthday on Valentines Day!! We started the week off with a Surprise Birthday Party for Casey on Monday morning. She was so surprised!
Every year Casey has our customers nominate their favorite charity and on her Birthday she draws and chooses a winner. She then donated $100!

Evanston Hungry Children Backpack Program: Here is a little about this non-profit organization.
At the Evanston Hungry Children Backpack Program we're bringing together people with a passion to help - schools, agency partners, funding partners, volunteers, and people like you; people who believe that no one should go hungry, certainly not a child. The core of our fight against childhood hunger is a weekend Backpack Program. This program provides children with easy-open, nutritious food to take home over weekends and holidays, when they otherwise might not have food available. The backpacks are assembled by volunteers and delivered to schools each week, where they are discretely distributed on Fridays to students in need to take home for the weekend or holiday. A typical backpack contains two breakfast items, two lunch items, two dinner items, two snacks, and a fruit. Last year teachers and schools who started this program in other communities reported improvements in test scores, positive behavioral gains, decrease in number of unexcused absences and an increased recognition of potential career paths in children receiving these backpacks.
The Evanston Hungry Child Backpack program was initiated in April of 2014 when we provided backpacks to 12 children in one school. During the 2014-2015 school year, the program will hopefully support 100 - 200 students in need at schools in Evanston. Together we can make this happen!
